Travel through the scenic countryside to Phnom Penh *where you'll enjoy a city tour to *The Royal Palace, built in 1866 by the French and home to the Silver Pagoda — a striking monument built out of Italian marble and housing a 90kg Buddha studded with nearly 10,000 diamonds.

All of the prisoners were photographed and the pictures now hang on the walls of the *Genocide Museum of Tuol Sleng. It is believed that 17,000 people were imprisoned at Tuol Sleng, and all but seven met their deaths there.
