• Roundtrip airport transfers for two are included in packages three nights and longer. Please contact the resort in advance to organise.
• Airport transfers are available for additional guests at a surcharge, see packages for details. Airport transfers are complimentary for infants (under 3).
• Club access includes daily buffet breakfast from 6.30am to 10.30am, all-day tea and coffee and evening refreshments from 5.30am to 7pm (non-alcoholic beverages only)

Taxes & fees:

Tourism tax of MYR10 per room, per night is not included and is payable directly to the hotel upon check-in/out. Tax applies to foreign passport holders from 1 January 2023 onwards.

Update 22 September 2025, 2.24pm AEDT: Please be informed that Al Fresco Restaurant at The Magellan Sutera Resort will be closed for renovation from 22 September to 5 December 2025.

During this period, guests are warmly invited to dine at our alternative venues:

• Five Sails – Breakfast buffet & à la carte menu
• Muffinz – Casual all-day dining
• Ferdinand’s – Fine Italian cuisine (Lunch & Dinner)

The Al Fresco Sunset Bar will remain open daily from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM for drinks and light refreshments.

Update 20 June 2024, 1pm: Each room package for December 31, 2024 includes two tickets to the New Year’s Non-Stop Mega Party. Additional guests will be charged RM299 per adult and RM99 per child (7–12), payable directly to the hotel upon check-in. From 9pm to 1am, guests will enjoy an all-inclusive experience with an open bar and food, a spectacular fireworks display and live, exciting entertainment on the beachfront.

Update 5 February 2024, 4.50pm: The guest including minors (below 18 years of age) agrees to assume all risks associated with the boat travel to and from the Resort, and/or for participating in the activities at the Resort and/or patronizing the Resort, and shall release the Resort and/or its Company including its officers and/or employees from all and any loss, damages, liability, claims, demands, costs, expenses, personal injury or death, howsoever caused.

The above terms and conditions are governed by the laws of Malaysia. In making this booking, the guest agrees to submit to the jurisdiction of the courts in Malaysia at Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, Malaysia.
