This elegant winery was founded back in 1997 when three family-owned vineyards converged – all ten minutes by tractor apart. New vineyards have since been added, and this exceptional experience allows you to immerse yourself in the magic of it all. The gourmet experience begins with a premium wine tasting of six wines. Afterward, settle in for a five-course degustation that combines exceptional local produce and attentive service for a truly memorable experience. The carefully crafted menu will not disappoint, as Head Chef Hayden Ellis’ passion for local ingredients shines through each bite. With previous experience at The Fat Duck and The Ledbury in the UK, followed by Dinner by Heston in Melbourne, the chef’s masterful skills are evident in the delivery of creative textures and flavours. Your experience begins and ends at Ten Minutes by Tractor, 1333 Mornington-Flinders Rd, Main Ridge VIC 3928. Your experience starts at 11.30am at the cellar door and ends at approximately 4pm. Ten Minutes by Tractor is located approximately a 90-minute drive from Melbourne Airport (MEL).
Flights, accommodation and transfers are not included in your package and must be purchased separately.

The Experience – Wine tasting and five-course degustation
Just an hour’s drive beyond Melbourne’s CBD is the scenic Mornington Peninsula, where you’ll experience a gourmet journey at the award-winning winery, Ten Minutes by Tractor.
Your gourmet journey begins with a private tasting of six premium wines, where you will be taken through the story of Ten Minutes by Tractor while showcasing a selection of their newly released estate and single vineyard wines. After, you’ll be taken next door to sit down to a tantalising five-course degustation lunch, crafted by the team of Head Chef Hayden Ellis – who trained at the prestigious Michelin-starred The Fat Duck in the UK and Dinner by Heston in Melbourne. Expect to sample a host of seasonal delights, which could include dishes such as Abrolhos scallops with cauliflower, Madeira shiitake, pickled seaweed and caviar or Wimmera dry-aged duck with braised cabbage, spiced local cherries among other exciting courses. (Please note: the menu is subject to change and is based on seasonal produce).
Wine Pairing Upgrade: Choose the optional wine pairing upgrade and listen closely as the Head Sommelier will introduce you to his favourite Australian and international wines. Choose from two options: the ‘Alternatives’ wine pairing, featuring a diverse breadth of local and international wines that are pioneering new trends, or the ‘Icons’ wine pairing, featuring a host of Australian or European classics with side by side, comparative tastings.

The Itinerary
Your chosen date: Ten Minutes by Tractor, Main Ridge
Take a momentary departure from life in the city and head to the Mornington Peninsula, a regional hub packed with local producers, top-rated wineries, and picturesque beaches – all of which make relaxing an easy task. Among the incredible wineries that dominate the area – including more than 50 cellar doors – is Ten Minutes by Tractor, the location of your memorable experience.
This award-winning winery boasts accolades including Australia’s Wine List of the Year 2021 and the prestigious Provenance Award at the 2021 Mornington Peninsula Wine Show for three vintages of its McCutcheon Pinot Noir.
Make your own way to the winery, located at Main Ridge on the Mornington Peninsula for an 11.30am start. Upon arrival, you will be welcomed into the cellar door to learn about Ten Minutes By Tractor’s vineyards and its low intervention approach that uses natural and traditional processes to enhance complexity, elegance and balance. You’ll sample six carefully selected wines.
The experience continues in the restaurant next door as you pull up a chair and indulge in five mouthwatering courses. Take time to savour every bite of this flavour-packed offering crafted by the skilled team of Head Chef Hayden Ellis, who learned his craft at prestigious restaurants including The Fat Duck and The Ledbury in the UK and Dinner by Heston in Melbourne.
The lunch ends at approximately 4pm.
