You have a little time to continue exploring Sydney before your cruise departs at 6.45pm today.

The city is also the main base of the Kiwi film industry and is nicknamed Wellywood.

Day 10: Lyttelton (Christchurch), New Zealand

Whilst Lyttelton can be considered by some as a sleepy seaside village, it is also home to a lively arts scene and an array of local boutiques. Enjoy an afternoon of theatre performances at the Lyttelton Arts Factory, take in 360-degree views of the Southern Alps upon the cable car, or stretch your legs on a local hiking trail.

Take this opportunity to venture a little further afield with Christchurch a mere 20 minutes away by car. Known as the ‘Garden City’, Christchurch is amongst New Zealand’s most beautiful cities. Following the devastating earthquakes of 2010 and 2011, the city has rebuilt and created colourful welcoming spaces in the gaping holes left by the quakes. In the years since, pop-up restaurants and art installations have dotted themselves across the city, reviving the atmosphere and bringing life and colour to the energetic city.
