Located in the spectacular South Ari Atoll, OUTRIGGER Maldives Maafushivaru Resort offers private island bliss just moments from vibrant underwater kingdoms brimming with manta rays, whale sharks and kaleidoscopic marine life.

The hotel is located approximately a 25-minute domestic seaplane flight from Malé’s Velana International Airport (MLE). Return domestic seaplane transfers are included in your package.

Luxury Escapes Private Charter is operated by Maldivian and is subject to government and regulatory approvals.

7-Day Change of Mind ‘No Questions Asked’ Refund Guarantee: Things don’t always work out. Our 7-day Change of Mind Guarantee is there to help. Bookings (except for cruise bookings, flights and deposit fee, if applicable, which are subject to the cancellation terms of the relevant supplier) may be cancelled with a full refund provided that cancellation occurs strictly within 7 days from the date of purchase and provided that the cancellation is made no less than 14 days prior to the check-in date. Excludes flight and service fee, if applicable.

• Cancellations outside of the 7-Day Change of Mind period will not be provided, except as required by Australian Consumer Law, your local law or as otherwise provided for in the Fine Print.

Flexible Cancellation: You can cancel your booking until 21 days prior to the original check-in date, however the following fees will apply: $995 per adult (12+) for economy class bookings, $795 per child (2–11) for economy class bookings; $2,995 for adults and children (2+) for business class bookings. The remaining balance, after deduction of the applicable cancellation fees will be refunded to your original payment or credit.

Cancellation can be done via self-service in your ‘My Escapes’ account. If refunded as credit, your credit will be valid for 12 months from the date of cancellation. Credits are not transferable and cannot be redeemed for cash. Excludes service fee, if applicable.

Please note this does not apply to flights (outside of your Melbourne to Malé return flight) booked with us. Flight fulfilment is provided by the airline(s) selected at the time of finalising the booking. For your air travel, you are bound by the terms and conditions and fare rules of the selected airline(s).

Date Changes: If you need to amend your booking, you can self-service ONE date change in your ‘My Escapes’ account up until 21 days before your original check-in date. If you can’t find a suitable date, or still need further assistance, please contact our 24/7 customer service team. Subject to availability and surcharges. Please Note:

• Please Note: The baggage allowance on your charter flight will be different to included baggage allowance on your transfer flight to the resort. Please be aware that luggage amounts exceeding 20kgs will incur an additional surcharge, payable directly to the airline.
• Children (11 and under) stay free on existing bedding only and eat free with meal inclusions of selected package (from the children’s menu) when dining with a paying adult.
• Children will not recieve transfers and will be required to pay the green tax upon arrival.
• Prior reservations are required to redeem the spa discount.
• Daily buffet breakfast is served at Cuisine Gallery from 7.30am–10am.
• Daily lunch is served at Edgewater from 12.30pm–3pm.
• Nightly dinner is served at Cuisine Gallery from 7pm–9.30pm.
• Select wine, beer and non-alcoholic drinks at mealtimes are limited to two hours per meal.
• All bottled wines, sparkling wine, spirits, champagne and cocktails will be charged based on consumption and are not included in your package.
• Reservations are required for speciality restaurants and destination dining experiences.
• For roundtrip seaplane transfers, extra guests must pay directly with the hotel; an additional US$355 per child (2–11), US$525 per adult (12+) and infants are free of charge when sitting on their parents’ lap.

All-Inclusive Packages

Please note the following only applies to the All-Inclusive packages:

• Dinner is served at all six onsite restaurants. Reservations are required for speciality restaurants (Koto, Art-I-San & Moodhu Grill).
• Unlimited access with all ice creams, snacks and drinks at Koffee ‘N Chill between 11am to 7pm (excluding retail items).
• Selected alcoholic free-flow drinks include a selection of beers, wines, liquors and cocktails served daily across several dining venues from 12pm.
• Non-alcoholic drinks include soft drinks, canned juices, water, coffee and tea and are available across several dining venues at the resort.
• In the event one of these venues is closed, guests can choose from the alternative options.
• Select menu items, denoted by a star on the menu, are subject to a surcharge.
• All bottled and sparkling wines and champagne are from the resort standard wine list.
• Full use of the in-room minibar (replenished once daily).
• The in-room mini-bar excludes the in-room wine cellar.
• The resort reserves the right to refuse service on responsible service of alcohol grounds.
• All bottled wines, sparkling wine, spirits and champagne will be charged based on consumption and are not included in your package.

Seaplane Transfers

• Seaplane transfers are operated by Trans-Maldivian Airways International (TMA) and are available only during daylight hours.
• To catch the last seaplane transfer for the day, the guests must be reported to the TMA check-in counter at the airport by 4pm at the latest. After landing at Velana International Airport (MLE) and finishing all the immigration processes, guests who are not able to check in at the seaplane counter before 4pm will be required to stay overnight in Malé. We recommend booking a hotel within proximity to the airport.
• Bookings are subject to tides, weather conditions and schedules are at the discretion of management.
• Guest’s travel details should be provided at least seven days in advance to secure a booking.
• The seaplane transfer will be shared with other passengers and a short waiting time may be required if other passengers are expected.
• Seaplane baggage allowance is one piece of 20kg luggage and one 5kg piece of hand luggage per passenger.
• Excess baggage is subject to availability and surcharges will apply.
• Extra guests must pay for their roundtrip seaplane transfer directly with the hotel; an additional US$355 per child (2–11), US$525 per adult (12+) and infants are free of charge when sitting on their parents’ lap.
• Occasionally your flight may have a stop on route to drop off and pick up passengers at other resorts. The resort will endeavor to provide you with the most direct route, subject to availability and the required connecting time of your international flight, or onward transfer arrangements.
