Your tour begins with fast track airport clearance and an arrival transfer from Casablanca Airport (CMN) to the first hotel and ends with a departure transfer to Marrakech Airport (RAK).

Regular flights are available with Qantas, Etihad, Qatar and more. Private return airport transfers are included in your tour on the first and last day only.

We recommend that you arrive in Casablanca no later than 3pm on Day 1 so you can enjoy the welcome dinner with your fellow travellers, and book your flight out of Marrakech anytime after breakfast on Day 10 or anytime after midday on Day 12 for the Essaouira extension.

Day 1: Arrive in Casablanca, Morocco

On arrival at Casablanca International Airport (CMN), you will be met by an airport representative and whisked through customs with our Fast Track Service. Once you have collected your luggage and exited the building to the arrival area (located outside the terminal), you will be met by our local representative and transferred to the Four Seasons Casablanca, a modern Moroccan seaside retreat.

Perched on the beach just ten minutes from the heart of Morocco, this luxury hotel is the ultimate launchpad to discover Casablanca’s architectural marvels and world-class restaurants.

This evening, enjoy a welcome dinner at a local favourite with your tour guide and group.

Day 2: Casablanca - Fes

After breakfast, you will join your local guide and discover the breathtaking Hassan II Mosque. Said to be one of the most beautiful mosques across the globe, it is one of the world’s largest and tallest with striking details including a soaring minaret partially built over the ocean, hand-carved stone and wood, intricate marble flooring and gilded cedar ceilings.

En route to the sprawling city of Fes, tempt the palate with the 64-year-old wine-making prowess of the acclaimed “Les Célliers de Meknes” – Morocco’s pioneer winemaking estate located on the outskirts of Meknes, “the Moroccan Versailles”, a grand imperial city abounding with monumental fortifications and the one-time home of the Moroccan sultanate. Learn the hidden secrets behind some of the country’s most well-known dishes as you’re treated to a traditional cooking class, where you will meander through bustling souks with a local chef to gather your ingredients.

Then, embark on a journey for the senses as you learn to craft dishes bursting with flavour, before sitting down to lunch with a local family, where you will learn about ‘fassi’ culture and traditions.

After lunch, go back in time by six centuries as you’re guided on an insider tour of the medieval medina, whose narrow, cobbled streets are lined with ancient mosques, soaring green minarets and historic fondouks. This morning, you will bid farewell to Fes as you transfer to the Merzouga Desert.

On arrival, you will surf across the shape-shifting Erg Chebbi dunes on a Sahara Desert jeep safari through Merzouga. Be mesmerised as the rose-gold dunes rise dramatically above the grey hamada (hard rocky desert).

Afterwards, you will check into your luxury Desert Camp and glide across the sand seas with a sunset camel ride, where you’ll be treated to extraordinarily scenic vistas of the sands shifting from orange, pink and purple as the sunsets. Follow the fabled ‘Road of 1,000 Kasbahs’ this morning, winding past the mud-brick forts of the High Atlas, tracing the Dadès Gorges route across the Valley of Roses and zigzagging through ancient rust-red and mauve mountains past historic kasbahs (castles) and ksour (fortified villages).

Driving through the valley, you will spy Kelaat Mgouna, renowned for its roses peeking through roadside hedgerows, and Skoura’s historic mudbrick castles, where we will stop to marvel at the 17th-century Kasbah Amridil, one of Morocco’s grandest kasbahs, before continuing to Ouarzazate.

Day 7: Ouarzazate - Marrakech

Unearth the 16th-century Aït Benhaddou this morning, a UNESCO World Heritage-listed site and almost 1,000-year-old ksar that is now an iconic Hollywood set. This spectacular ksar has served as the backdrop for more than 15 productions, including Gladiator and Game of Thrones.

Afterwards, we will ascend through the High Atlas Mountains to an incredible 2.260m before arriving in Marrakech in the late afternoon.

Day 10: Agafay - Marrakech - Essaouira

After breakfast, we drive west towards the charming coastal beach town of Essaouira, renowned for its surf, palm-lined avenues surrounding the fortified medina and atmospheric fishing port. En route, visit an argan oil cooperative in one of the only argan oil-producing regions in the world and enjoy a guided tour of the cellar door of one of the only wineries in Morocco dedicated to grapes from the Rhone Valley, followed by lunch and a private wine tasting.

Continue onto Essaouira. Also known as Mogador, the modern city of Essaouira was not constructed until the late 18th century by Mohammed III. French and Arab influences shine through in this medina’s architecture. Essaouira played a major role in maritime trade, bridging Sub-Saharan Africa with Europe. Upon arrival, check into your hotel and enjoy free time to explore the city on your own before dinner with the group.
