Safari Lodge at Monarto Safari Resort

Set within Monarto Safari Park’s Wild Africa precinct, Safari Lodge sits an hour from Adelaide in South Australia, where the savannah plains stretch across 1,500 hectares of open landscape. The lodge is located approximately a 60-minute drive from Adelaide Airport (ADL). Airport transfers are included in select packages, see the Fine Print for details.

Child Policy: Guests under 15 are not permitted and cannot be accommodated. Children aged 15 – 17 must stay with a parent or guardian.

Blackout Dates & Surcharges: A non-refundable surcharge per room, per night may apply, payable at the time of booking. Dates and prices are identified in the Booking Calendar. Blackout dates may apply.

7-Day Change of Mind ‘No Questions Asked’ Refund Guarantee: Things don’t always work out. Our 7-day Change of Mind Guarantee is there to help. Bookings (except for cruise bookings, flights and deposit fee, if applicable, which are subject to the cancellation terms of the relevant supplier) may be cancelled with a full refund provided that cancellation occurs strictly within 7 days from the date of purchase and provided that the cancellation is made no less than 14 days prior to the check-in date. Excludes flight and service fee, if applicable.

• Cancellations outside of the 7-Day Change of Mind period will not be provided, except as required by Australian Consumer Law, your local law or as otherwise provided for in the Fine Print.

Flexible Cancellation: You can cancel your booking for credit up until 21 days prior to the original check-in date. This can be done via self-service in your ‘My Escapes’ account. Your credit will be valid for 12 months from the date of cancellation. Credits are not transferable and cannot be redeemed for cash. Excludes service fee, if applicable.

Please note this does not apply to flights booked with us. Flight fulfilment is provided by the airline(s) selected at the time of finalising the booking. For your air travel, you are bound by the terms and conditions and fare rules of the selected airline(s).

Date Changes: If you need to amend your booking, you can self-service unlimited date changes in your ‘My Escapes’ account up until 21 days before your original check-in date. If you can’t find a suitable date, or still need further assistance, please contact our 24/7 customer service team. Subject to availability and surcharges.

Please Note:

• Daily a la carte breakfast is served at the lodge restaurant from 7am – 10am.
• Daily a la carte lunch is served at the lodge restaurant from 12pm – 2.30pm. Lunch is available from the second day of your stay.
• Daily three-course dinner is a chef’s choice menu served at the lodge restaurant from 6pm.
• All-inclusive beverages include select wines, spirits, cocktails, beers and non-alcoholic options available throughout the day at the lodge restaurant. Premium alcoholic beverages are available at an additional cost.
• Daily minibar in your tent is stocked with South Australian beverages (alcoholic and non-alcoholic) and snacks, replenished daily.
• Exclusive sunset safari through Wild Africa is a 2.5-hour guided experience in a nine-seater open-sided Land Cruiser vehicle, departing 2.5 hours prior to sunset on the second day of your stay. Light refreshments are included. Please contact the lodge for departure times specific to your travel month.
• Two-day Monarto Safari Park general admission is valid for two consecutive days. The park is open from 9am – 5pm daily. Explore via the guided Zu-Loop bus or walking tracks.
• A complimentary shuttle runs to Monarto Safari Resort, Monarto Safari Park and Marula Day Spa on request, subject to availability.
• The reception area in the Safari Lodge is staffed from 7am – 11pm. A night manager will be available for after hours enquiries and late check-in/early check-out.
• Please note that the images currently being used to showcase Safari Lodge are artist impressions. Real photos of the lodge and tents will be produced closer to the opening date.
• Complimentary parking is available for all guests and is located near the main lodge.
• While animals do roam near the area of the resort, due to the property’s large size, sightings cannot be guaranteed.

• Includes: Private transfer to/from Adelaide Airport (ADL) to the Safari Lodge in a luxury vehicle (Mercedes E Class, BMW 5 Series, Tesla or similar), meet and greet service by chauffeur, luggage assistance, bottled water, in-vehicle electronic charging facilities, refresher wipes.
• Availability on request, subject to availability.
• After you have made your booking request, a confirmation email will be automatically sent to your nominated email address. Please note this is NOT a final confirmation, as your desired date may not be available.
• You will be contacted within 1–3 business days to confirm your booking and arrange a time with you directly.
• On departure, guests may be dropped either at the airport or at Adelaide CBD hotels. Guests must confirm their preferred drop-off location when contacted to confirm the booking.
