What You’ll Love…

The Experiences – Helicopter tour over Everest Base Camp and cultural dining experience

Immerse yourself in the Nepalese culture from the moment you arrive in Kathmandu. After being met at the airport by a tour representative, you’ll be transferred to your hotel, before heading to a local restaurant for a cultural programme and sumptuous welcome dinner.

Following a restful night’s sleep, you’ll embark on the adventure of a lifetime with a helicopter tour over Everest Base Camp. First, you’ll head to the Sherpa village and the gateway to Everest, Lukla. After refueling in Lukla, fly over Tengboche, Dingoboche, Gorakshep and the Khumbu glacier to base camp, before heading back via Kongde or the Everest View Hotel for an optional breakfast (food and drink here is not included in the tour price). For an additional cost, you even have the once-in-a-lifetime option of landing at base camp.

The following day you’ll head off on a sightseeing tour of Kathmandu Valley. On the agenda is the Pashupatinath Temple, Swayambhunath, Boudhanath and Patan Durbar Square.

The next morning you’ll travel by private vehicle or optional flight to Pokhara, where you’ll awaken early for a mountain trek and spectacular sunrise views.

Thrillseekers will love the optional paragliding, while Pokhara also offers an excursion to bucket-list-worthy sites such as Phewa Lake and Davis Falls.

Your final full day is reserved for relaxation, with an included 30-minute massage at Gokarna Forest Resort and a cultural farewell dinner with your fellow travellers.

After active days of sightseeing, you’ll love returning to the comfort of your hotel. Night one will be spent at either the Gokarna Forest Resort, a remarkable piece of period architecture with an on-site spa, or Hotel Mulberry, a modern hotel with a rooftop infinity pool, tucked away in the Himalayas.

Nights two, three and six will also be spent at Gokarna, while nights four and five in Pokhara will be in either Mount Kailash Resort, which has a private garden and spa, or the stunning Hotel Pokhara Grande, which last year made it into TripAdvisor’s top ten hotels in Nepal.
