Hulbert House sits just minutes from Queenstown’s lakefront, restaurants and shops, with the Skyline Gondola, Kiwi Birdlife Park and the TSS Earnslaw steamship all within easy reach. Ski Coronet Peak or the Remarkables, hike the Ben Lomond Track or head out to the Gibbston Valley wineries, then stroll back up the hill to the house.
The hotel is located approximately a 10-minute drive from Queenstown Airport (ZQN). Airport transfers are not included in your package, please plan accordingly.

- One-time gourmet picnic lunch is a takeaway selection of focaccia sandwiches, antipasti, crackers and dips, seasonal salad, fresh fruit, a sweet treat, juice and still or sparkling water. Available daily and must be pre-arranged upon check-in. Dietary requirements can be accommodated if guests contact the hotel before arrival.
- Nightly canapes and pre-dinner drinks are served on the deck overlooking Lake Wakatipu or fireside in the Palm Lounge (weather dependent) from 5pm to 7pm.
- The one-time in-room minibar contains non-alcoholic soft drinks and bottled water.
- Cheese platter and welcome wine are in-room on arrival. Bottle of wine is 700ml red or sparkling. A non-alcoholic alternative can be arranged if required.
- Guests are able to use the hot tub for up to 60 minutes per day. Advance reservation is required during check-in.
- Hulbert House offers an unscheduled complimentary drop off service to Queenstown.
