🌿The Conscious Collection: Fusing high-end luxury with a quintessential Australian experience, the award-winning Emirates One&Only Wolgan Valley has taken experiential travel to a new level, celebrating its ninth consecutive year of being carbon neutral. It was the world’s first resort to gain an international carbon neutral status and remains Australia’s most luxurious getaway with this status of accreditation. As well as bottling their own water from the on-site Carne Creek and working to protect the area’s natural wildlife, the resort is scaling up its environmental conservation initiatives; with a yearly audit by CarboNZero ensuring they stay on track. Currently, the 7,000-acre nature reserve is working on a project with NSW EPA to turn organic waste to water, which will remove approximately sixty per cent of waste currently going to landfill.
