Update 11 March 2026, 2.10pm AEDT: A government-led coastal conservation initiative is currently underway along the shoreline of Candidasa, including the beachfront adjacent to the resort. This means:

• There may be visible activity along certain sections of the beach during designated working hours. As a result of the ongoing works, some resort operations and services may be temporarily adjusted. The resort’s operational team is proactively implementing measures to ensure minimal disruption to guest comfort.
• The beach area directly in front of the resort is currently inaccessible due to ongoing conservation works. For guests who wish to enjoy the beach, a complimentary shuttle service is available to Virgin Beach.
• Please note that facility enhancements are currently taking place at Basil Restaurant & Pool Bar and surrounds. Selected Junior Suite Garden View and Junior Suite Ocean View units closest to the works area, along with the adjacent pool, are temporarily unavailable from 1 July to 31 August 2026. Basil Restaurant & Pool Bar will be temporarily closed from 22 June to 1 July 2026; Ocean Terrace Restaurant will serve as the primary dining venue during this period. From 1 July 2026, Basil Restaurant will reopen in a new location below Ocean Spa. The Infinity Pool, Main Pool, Ocean Terrace Restaurant, and the majority of resort facilities continue to operate as normal. As renovation works are ongoing, all stated dates are estimates and may be subject to change.
