Aarunya Nature Resort & Spa is ideally situated in the heart of Sri Lanka’s Central Province, offering easy access to the historic city of Kandy, just a 30-minute drive away. Nearby attractions include the Royal Botanical Gardens and the Temple of the Tooth Relic. The resort is approximately a three-hour drive from Bandaranaike International Airport (CMB). Airport transfers are not included in your package, please plan accordingly.

Compulsory Christmas Gala Dinner: For stays on 24 December, an additional surcharge of US$110 per adult (13+) and US$55 per child (4–12) applies for the compulsory Christmas Gala dinner. Payable directly to the resort.

Compulsory New Year’s Gala Dinner: For stays on 31 December, an additional surcharge of US$140 per adult (13+) and US$70 per child (4–12) applies for the compulsory New Year’s Gala dinner. Payable directly to the resort.

Blackout Dates & Surcharges: A non-refundable surcharge per room, per night may apply, payable at the time of booking. Dates and prices are identified in the Booking Calendar. Blackout dates may apply.

7-Day Change of Mind ‘No Questions Asked’ Refund Guarantee: Things don’t always work out. Our 7-day Change of Mind Guarantee is there to help. Bookings (except for cruise bookings, flights and deposit fee, if applicable, which are subject to the cancellation terms of the relevant supplier) may be cancelled with a full refund provided that cancellation occurs strictly within 7 days from the date of purchase and provided that the cancellation is made no less than 14 days prior to the check-in date. Excludes flight and service fee, if applicable.

• Cancellations outside of the 7-Day Change of Mind period will not be provided, except as required by Australian Consumer Law, your local law or as otherwise provided for in the Fine Print.

Flexible Cancellation: You can cancel your booking for credit up until 21 days prior to the original check-in date. This can be done via self-service in your ‘My Escapes’ account. Your credit will be valid for 12 months from the date of cancellation. Credits are not transferable and cannot be redeemed for cash. Excludes service fee, if applicable.

Please note this does not apply to flights booked with us. Flight fulfilment is provided by the airline(s) selected at the time of finalising the booking. For your air travel, you are bound by the terms and conditions and fare rules of the selected airline(s).

Date Changes: If you need to amend your booking, you can self-service unlimited date changes in your ‘My Escapes’ account up until 21 days before your original check-in date. If you can’t find a suitable date, or still need further assistance, please contact our 24/7 customer service team. Subject to availability and surcharges.

Please Note:

• Dining inclusions do not include drinks (unless otherwise stated). Menus are subject to change without notice.
• Daily breakfast is a la carte, served either in-villa or at The Verandah between 7.30am and 10am.
• Daily four-course lunch or dinner is served at The Verandah between 12.30pm and 3pm (lunch) or 7pm and 10pm (dinner).
• Daily free-flow cocktail hour is between 5pm and 6pm and consists of cocktails from a set menu at The Verandah. Mocktails are available in lieu of alcoholic drinks.
• The complimentary 60-minute massage is a full-body signature Aarunya massage per adult, redeemable at Aarogya Luxury Spa or in-villa. Treatments must be booked in advance.
• Daily yoga sessions run in the morning and the evening. Guests are entitled to one 60-minute session a day.
• Guided nature and village walks must be booked in advance.
• Complimentary access to the wellness centre includes a sauna and bathhouse, open daily from 8am to 10pm, and a fitness centre open 24 hours.
• 15-minute head massage is per person on arrival.
• Signature welcome drink is a choice of tropical fruit juices, tea or coffee, alongside Sri Lankan traditional teatime sweets.
• Complimentary Aarunya handmade chocolates are presented in-villa on arrival.

Return Private Airport Transfers Inclusions & Fine Print (select packages only)

• Includes: A return private airport transfer, basic/sufficient English-speaking driver, airport parking fee, toll fee and one bottle of water per person.
• You will be required to update your transfer information after making your booking. Transfer information includes:
  • Flight number and arrival time
  • Child seats requirements
  • Number of pieces of luggage including large items
• You will receive an automated confirmation of your transfer when booking, with a final confirmation sent to you within seven days of your nominated travel date.
• Transfers can accommodate up to three luggage pieces or suitcases (sedan) or six luggage pieces or suitcases (van) per vehicle. Fees may apply for excess baggage.
• A complimentary infant or child seat can be booked each way or guests may bring their own.
• The driver will wait for a delay of up to one hour. After that point, the transfer will be considered cancelled. It is recommended to have your phone available on arrival should your driver need to contact you.
