Your cruise begins and ends in Sydney, with one night of pre-cruise accommodation.
Check-in at your pre-cruise stay in Sydney is available at 3pm on Day 1 (4 January 2025). Your cruise then departs from the Overseas Passenger Terminal at 12pm on Day 2 and returns at 9am on Day 7. Information on boarding times will be provided prior to your departure date; please ensure you arrive in time for boarding.
Roundtrip flights are not included in your package and must be purchased separately. Please do NOT book your flights until your cruise is confirmed.

Make your own way to the Overseas Passenger Terminal, where you will board Cunard’s Queen Elizabeth from 12pm for your five-night return journey from Sydney to Tasmania.

Day 3: At Sea
Perhaps this morning you’d like to start the day slow, indulging in your exclusive Luxury Escapes Champagne breakfast. Day 4: Hobart
Arrive in Hobart early this morning.
One of the first sights to greet you is Mount Wellington, the city’s natural backdrop, towering more than 1,200 metres above the harbour. The perfect place to take in a bird’s-eye views of the city, this mountain’s peak is dusted in snow during winter and covered in lush greenery for the rest of the year. To see for yourself, jump on one of the shuttle buses that regularly makes the 25-minute journey from the centre of town.
Hobart has a distinctly European look and feel, and a unique local character. Capital of Australia’s Island State, it has plenty to offer the adventurous and the inquisitive. Enjoy fine dining at the Glass House, suspended over the waters of Sullivan’s Cove with 280-degree views of the River Derwent, go bushwalking among Wellington Park’s 18,000 hectares or discover MONA, Hobart’s edgy modern art museum – how you explore is up to you.

Day 5: Great Oyster Bay (scenic cruising)
Renowned for its pristine beaches, clear blue waters and diverse wildlife, Great Oyster Bay in the southwest of the Tasman Sea is framed by the Freycinet Peninsula to the south and the town of Swansea to the north. The bay itself is named after the abundant oyster beds that were once a significant food source for the Mumirimina people.
Today, Great Oyster Bay and its surrounding areas are celebrated for their thriving marine life, such as dolphins, Australian fur seals and even whales, making it a prime location for nature-watching. As you cruise around this scenic area, take in sights of nearby Freycinet National Park, home to the well-known Wineglass Bay.

Day 6: At Sea
As you follow Australia’s eastern coast, one final day at sea is yours to spare how you please.
