The Cruises – Mexico and Alaska Inside Passage, with all meals and entertainment included

Your adventure begins in Los Angeles, the glitzy home of Hollywood and the Walk of Fame. Your cruise for Mexico departs at 4.30pm, so why not spend the morning exploring this glamorous city?

From LA you’ll board the Carnival Splendor ship and set sail for Mexico. Dock in Cabo San Lucas, home to beautiful beaches and ideal for swimming and snorkelling.

You’ll also visit Mazatlán, a resort town along Mexico’s Pacific shoreline in the state of Sinaloa. Here, it’s all about strolls along the beach, the seafood and the delicious tropical cocktails.

Next up is Puerto Vallarta, a resort town famous for its beaches, Islas Marietas National Park and plentiful watersport opportunities.

Sea days meanwhile are made fun with all-inclusive meals across a range of restaurants and activities such as a comedy club, game shows, stage productions and the WaterWorks water park.

After eight days, you’ll arrive back in LA, where you’ll board your included flight to Seattle, Washington. Spend one night here before your second cruise, with a 4pm departure giving you time to enjoy iconic Seattle sites such as the Space Needle landmark and Pike Place seafood market.

Your Alaska Inside Passage cruise will take you to Ketchikan, an Alaskan city known for its Native American totem poles and nearby Misty Fiords National Monument, a glacier-carved wilderness with mountains and waterfalls.

You’ll also enjoy an early morning arrival at Tracy Arm, a must-see Alaskan fjord abundant in natural beauty, before cruising on to dock at Juneau, the capital of Alaska. Highlights of Juneau include Mendenhall, a 13-mile-long glacier, The Tongass National Forest and Mount Roberts Tramway.

Your final stop in Alaska is Skagway, filled with gold-rush-era buildings, and home to The White Pass & Yukon Route Railroad, which runs vintage locomotives, offering stunning mountain views.

A boat cruise awaits on Lake Powell, considered one of America’s most beautiful lakes. Sail past hundreds of private coves, salt pillars and sand arches unique to the area. At Bryce Canyon, marvel at some of the world’s most breathtaking natural sculptures.

Fans of Western movies will also love the overnight stay in Kanab town, Utah, which has featured in more than 100 cowboy movies.

Visit Zion National Park – only 2.5 hours from the Las Vegas trip, this peaceful area of natural beauty feels a world away from the bright lights of Sin City. Marvel at the Emerald Pools, waterfalls, hanging garden and forest trails before returning to Vegas for an evening at leisure.

Booking Conditions: The tour operator will be in touch within 72 hours of purchasing the package. The booking forms must be returned to the tour operator within 7 days of purchasing the package. Reservations cannot be made until the booking form is returned to the tour operator.

Booking Guarantee: Book up to 14 days after purchase period and if you don’t get your preferred dates (within the validity period) we will give you a FULL refund (evidence of attempted booking must be provided to us by 16 days after purchase period). Refunds are not available if you are unable to secure your preferred dates after that date.

Flights: Return economy class airfares from Melbourne, Sydney or Brisbane are included in the package with Air Canada, United Airlines, Qantas, Delta, American Airlines, Virgin Atlantic, Air New Zealand, Cathay Pacific or Fiji Airways.

Flights departing Hobart, Canberra or Adelaide are available for a surcharge of AU$275 per person and Perth for a surcharge of AUD$550 per person.

Baggage Allowance: 23kg checked baggage and 7kg carry-on baggage

Internal Flights: Economy class airfares from Los Angeles to Seattle and Seattle to Las Vegas are included in the package with Air Canada, United Airlines, Alaska Airlines, Delta or American Airlines.

Baggage Allowance: Baggage for your internal flights is NOT included and will cost approx. US$25 per hold bag at airport check-in.

Please note airlines are at complete discretion of Tour Provider. Maximum travel time is approximately 35 hours.

Please note, preferred airline seating is the responsibility of the passenger. You will need to contact the airline to book and pay for any specific airline seat reservations.

You will receive your booking number with your tour confirmation and then you can contact the airline. If you do not wish to pre-book reserved seats, the airline will seat you accordingly at time of check in.

Flights Upgrades: Quotations for upgradeable airfares to premium economy, business class or your preferred airlines are only valid for 72 hours after you receive the quoted airfare.

Change of Date: The change of date fee is AU$150 per person plus any applicable additional airfare and taxes. After airline tickets have been issued the package can only be changed by paying an AU$350 per person airline change fee plus any applicable airfares and taxes.

Please note: Packages are not transferrable to any other person. The tour order, itinerary, departure dates and airlines cannot be changed after the tour has been confirmed in writing. Any changes to confirmed reservations will incur an AU$150 change fee per person.

The maximum capacity on this tour is 44 passengers (min. two passengers).

Maximum Room Capacity: The maximum room capacity is two adults sleeping on double or twin bedding.

Hotels may not have ramps, wide entryways or elevators to accommodate disabled passengers or devices such as wheelchairs, walkers and motorised scooters. Due to physical constraints and space limitations, wheelchairs, walking frames and motorised scooters may not be taken aboard motor coaches.

  • Optional tours and shore excursions in each city other than those already included in the itinerary
  • Meals not listed in the itinerary
  • Baggage on flights. Luggage is included on all long haul international flights. For the Domestic USA flights you may be required to pay for baggage at the airport prior to departure. Your reservations consultant will advise this to you post purchase.
  • Cost of Tourist Visas. If you are travelling on Australian passports you will need a ESTA USA tourist visa for this tour.
  • Cost of pre-reserving airline seats. Customers will need to go onto the airline web site with their reservations number and book and pay for preferred airline seating prior to departure.
  • Transfers - please catch a taxi at each airport and port to your hotel.
