Leave Alice Springs behind and spend a full day chasing fiery red cliffs, cool waterholes and wide-open desert views through the West MacDonnell Ranges. With an experienced guide leading the way, you will stop at Simpsons Gap, Standley Chasm, the Ochre Pits, Ormiston Gorge and Ellery Creek Big Hole, with plenty of time for photos and a refreshing summer swim. Morning tea and a Bushman’s Lunch keep you fuelled between walks, while air-conditioned transport and accommodation pick-up and drop-off make it easy to settle in and enjoy the scenery. As the sun lowers, watch the ranges glow in shades of orange, maroon and purple on the return to Alice Springs.
