The Sands Torquay is approximately a 90-minute drive from Melbourne Airport (MEL) or 40 minutes from Avalon Airport (AVV). Airport transfers are not included in your package, please plan accordingly.

  • Dining Credit: The included credit must be used during your stay in one transaction. Any unused credit will be forfeited and is not transferable or redeemable for cash. Credit can be used at Bunkers or Shirleys at The Sands (excludes minibar and room service). No minimum spend applies.
  • Daily breakfast alternates between buffet and a la carte plus a glass of juice, and tea or coffee, served at Spike Café from 7.30am until 10.30am daily.
  • One welcome drink per adult is a selection of beer, wine or soft drink and can be redeemed at any time throughout your stay at Shirleys at The Sands.
  • Shirleys at The Sands is open from 10.30am to 9.30pm.
  • The one-time golf ball inclusion is to be used at the driving range, with the balls available for pick up from the Pro Shop open 7am to 7pm.
  • Children’s scavenger hunt is self-guided and does not need to be booked. Children will be given this to complete on check in.
