Availability:

  • Available selected Fridays & Saturdays: Departs 2.30pm; returns 5.30pm (approximately)
  • Not valid: Monday – Thursday
  • Departure point: North Wharf Pontoon, Australian National Maritime Museum, 2 Murray Street Sydney, NSW 2000. Please gather at the base of the Lighthouse where a member of the Duyfken crew will meet you
  • Please arrive at least 15 minutes before your check-in time. Late arrivals and no-shows voids offer

Important:

  • The Duyfken sail experience is for adults and not designed for children. Children 12 years of age or over are welcome to join if accompanied by an adult. If you are booking for a child 12 years of age or older, please indicate this when you book your tickets
  • Please be aware that there is limited seating and reduced head heights below deck on board
  • The sail is three hours in duration, with the vessel arriving back at the museum
  • Flat shoes are recommended (no high heels)
  • It is recommended to bring a warm jacket in case of cooler weather
  • Professional and experienced volunteer crew will be on board to operate the ship so you are free to sit back and enjoy the experience
  • Duyfken sailing passengers get $15 all-day validated parking at Wilson Parking, Harbourside Carpark (not Novotel parking), 100 Murray Street, Pyrmont. Please validate your parking ticket at the museum ticket desk in the main museum building before boarding Duyfken. The museum is closed when the sail finishes, and parking tickets cannot be validated then. Refunds do not apply for invalidated parking or late requests

Terms & Conditions:

  • In case of bad weather, sails may need to be cancelled. You will be informed via email 24 hours prior to departure if this occurs
  • Itinerary is subject to change without notice depending on weather and sailing conditions
  • Must be aged 18+ for alcohol consumption and provide valid ID upon request
  • Minimum numbers apply for cruise to proceed. If a cruise fails to satisfy minimum numbers, the trip may be cancelled or rescheduled
