Availability:

• Available every day: Departures from 9am–5pm (summer) or 10am–4pm (winter). Please see Booking Calendar for available times
• Not valid: 25 December 2024
• Departure Point: Punts depart from and return to the Antigua Boat Sheds – 2 Cambridge Terrace, Christchurch
• Please ensure you arrive at the correct location for your punting experience, and arrive at least 15 minutes before your booking time to check in and undergo a safety briefing
• Punts depart promptly at the scheduled time, and guests who do not arrive in time for their booked departure will not receive a refund
• Bookings valid to 28 February 2026

Important:

• Please note this is a shared experience, and you may be in a punt with other guests
• Blankets and umbrellas can be provided if it is cold and wet, however, please dress appropriately for the day
• Photos, video and security images may be taken of participants at any time for security and marketing. You agree that photos may be published online and may be used for promotional purposes

Terms & Conditions:

• All children must be accompanied by an adult
• Punts are quite low to the ground due to the river’s height, which may cause issues for participants with mobility issues
• Unfortunately, the punting experience is not wheelchair accessible. For guests who can step out of their chair, the landing is accessible and you can step into the seat onboard the punt. Likewise, if the guests in your party can lift the chair in and out of the punt, that is also an option
• Boat rides are weather-dependent and may be cancelled at the discretion of Christchurch Attractions for passenger and crew safety

Cancellations:

• Cancellations made more than 36 hours before departure date: no cancellation fees apply
• Cancellations within 36 hours of departure date, late arrivals and no-shows: 100% cancellation fee applies

Changes to Booking:

• 36 hours’ notice is required to change a booking you have made
